C4W Saturday Night in Myrtle Beach & Remembering Mr. Perfect!

Do Not Miss a moment of Live Wrestling Action as C4W returns to the X complex on Saturday Night in Myrtle Beach. On the card, you will see:
Tom Trust vs Johnny Anthrax for the No Limits title, a contract signing for the C4W title between Steven Hunter and "The Golden Child " Christopher McKensie . Plus the final team to be decided to face Anarchy Kid and the Menace for the first C4W Tag Champs.

You may have seen a few of the C4W Stars at my AFE Beach Bash 2005 show in Conway and one C4W Star may have risen from the dead but I can ensure you of one thing - ALL of these guys (and girls) bust their butts to put on a great show for the crowd. Tickets are not expensive at all for what you get and the X complex is a great location for Live INDY Wrestling.

Here is what C4W Superstar Christopher James told me about the show on 02.11

"Anyone that is somebody will be at the C4W show....It is a show that you can't miss or shame on you for missing it...It is the TOP INDIE show in the WORLD! You the fans get a TV quality show for a low price seeing the best guys give it all for you. The Fans! Hope to see you there!!!"

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT WRESTLING FANS! Live Pro Wrestling Action at the X Complex on Saturday Night - DONT MISS IT......BE THERE!!!

REMEMBERING "MR PERFECT"
Just last Friday when I asked TNA Champion Bobby Roode who would he wrestle in his dream match, he replied his number 1 Mentor in the industry - "Mr Perfect" Curt Henning.

Curt Henning passed away today (02.10) in 2003 at 44 years old in a Florida hotel room. A mixture of Cocaine, Steroids and Painkillers were said to be the cause. Curts father was Larry "The Axe" Henning and his son is current WWE Superstar Michael McGillicutty.

He began his career in 1980 wrestling for the AWA and he wrestled pretty much non-stop up til the time of his death bouncing as most do from the AWA to the WWF and WCW then finally working with TNA.

I met Mr. Perfect one time when he was working with WCW in North Charleston, SC after a Monday NItro TV Taping. We were all hanging out in the hotel (bar of course) and ( do not laugh at this ) but we actually started talking while in the men's bathroom. He asked me if I could go to the Waffle House and pick Chris Benoit up because he was stranded there drunk. I honestly thought that Curt was too drunk to know what he was talking about until he pulled out his wallet, gave me $30.00 bucks and said that he wanted to place an order to go as well. He ordered a steak with 5 eggs whites to go. My Brother BJ, My Best Friend Ashley and I piled into Ashley's Jeep and went to the Waffle House. Sure enough, there was Benoit waiting for us to pick him up. We got Curt's dinner and we headed back the hotel.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Chris Benoit fell out of the jeep trying to jump out and actually hurt himself. Every time I saw Chris after that, I joked with him telling him that he lost his tooth the night that he fell out of the jeep in SC. Six of us hung out in the hotel until the wee hours of the morning listening to stories from the road. Today, I look back remembering that night, remembering Mr Perfect and Chris Benoit - laughing at what all we did, saw, and learned. But then again, it is sad to think that there were 6 of us that night at that table and today, three of them - the three Wrestlers are all gone. Mr. Perfect, Chris Benoit and Bobby Duncan Jr.  THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!  - Wayne C.
